Etihad Airways food is full of flavor and customers can enjoy some of their favourite brands onboard.there is the option to check the meal menu on the Etihad website before your flight. Customers with special dietary restrictions can pre-book their meals according to them. Customers can use a lot of facilities that are provided in all the Etihad airways lounge these include facilities such as complimentary food, beverages, Wi-Fi, newspapers, magazines, and shower and washroom facilities. Customers can also find the Six Senses Spas which offers spa treatments for an additional fee in the First Lounge & Spa in Abu Dhabi. All major credit cards are accepted at the lounge. You can also use your Etihad Guest Miles.  If fliers need a wheelchair the request has to be made at least 48 hours before your flight. Etihad Airways has three different types of wheelchairs, depending on the level of assistance you need.

Compensation will be given If a flier is involuntarily denied boarding or your flight is cancelled. Reimbursement will be given If you are denied boarding or your flight is cancelled fliers are entitled to choose between, reimbursement of the cost of the ticket at the price at which it was bought, or for the part or parts of the journey not made or re-routing, under comparable transport conditions, to the final destination at the earliest.

Q. What is the baggage allowance?
A. A customer’s baggage allowance depends on the destination and the fare that is booked. Customers can use the baggage calculator to understand exactly how much baggage you can take for your trip.

Q. How do I add excess baggage to my booking?
A. You can book excess baggage quickly and easily online up to 4 hours before your flight. Visit Manage my booking and get up to 30% off our standard rates. Alternatively, you can pay for excess baggage when you check-in at the airport. All excess baggage payments are non-refundable. If you’re flying to or from the US or Canada, you can only book one extra bag of up to 23kg online. If you need to take even more baggage, you can pay to take up to 32kg by phoning our Contact Centre 48 hours before your flight to receive a 10% discount. Alternatively, pay for your excess baggage at the airport.

Q. What should I do if my luggage doesn't arrive?
A. let the Etihad Airways personnel know that your baggage has not arrived before you leave the airport. We’ll give you a Property Irregularity Report (PIR), which you’ll need to track your bags, to organise delivery or to make a claim in the future.

Q. When and where can I check-in for my flight?
A. Fliers can check-in online or on the Etihad airways app 30 hours before their flight. Online check-in is available until one hour before you fly. If fliers prefer to check-in at the airport, please make sure to arrive with plenty of time. The recommended time is four hours before your flight. 

Q. How do I book a flight or a multi-city flight?
A. Book flights, at Etihad website or on the app or by calling the Global Contact Centre. Choose where you’d like to fly from, your destination and when you’d like to fly. Pick a cabin and inform how many guests will be flying. To book a multi-city flight, simply select ‘Multi-city’ before you search. Customers can add additional destinations by selecting ‘Add another flight’.
